The European Works Council and the Group Management of AXA have adopted a charter on the Health and Well-Being program for Group employees
04.12.2020
On November 18, 2020, the plenary meeting of the AXA Group's European Works Council was the occasion for Hedi Ben Sedrine, its secretary, and Thomas Buberl, its Chairman and CEO of the AXA Group, to sign a charter relating to the new Global Health and Well-being Program for all AXA Group employees (please refer to the joint meetings minutes).
When this program was first presented to the Bureau of the EWC, on October 14, the secretary of the AXA EWC wished to draw up a charter to support this project. After this principle was accepted by management, work carried out jointly led to the development of the principles relating to :
- The notion of voluntary work and support for employees,
- The protection of personal data,
- A communication accompanying the implementation of the program
- No backward of the existing local health and prevention offer which, on the contrary, will be complemented by the services offered by this program.
This program is intended to evolve according to innovations that may be introduced or to meet specific local health or prevention needs. In the event of a major change in the global Health and Well-being program, the Secretariat of the CEG AXA will be informed and the charter will be amended, if necessary.
Finally, the implementation of this program will be monitored by the AXA EWC during Bureau meetings or dedicated meetings if necessary, as it is rolled out to all Group entities as from January 2021.
The signing of this charter, implemented at the level of the Group's highest employee representative body, emphasizes the good quality of the social dialogue at Group level to which Group Management confirms its commitment.
